1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using Manyplace, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Manyplace for an organization, you represent that you can bind it to these Terms.

2. Installation-based access

Manyplace creates a cryptographic identity for your operating-system user instead of asking for an email address or password. You are responsible for access to that device and credential store. There is no cross-device recovery in this version. Do not transfer, copy, sell, or misuse an installation identity, and do not try to create replacement identities to evade a block, suspension, deletion record, or other safety measure.

3. Your profile and content

You are responsible for the profile, photo, activity, report note, and other material you submit (“Your Content”), and must have the right to use it. You grant Realitium a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and provide Manyplace. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for backups, safety records, and material we must retain by law as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your profile, activity, local time derived from your device timezone, seat, and presence may be visible to other people in the same room. Please choose what you share accordingly.

4. Be good company

You may not use Manyplace to harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or discriminate; impersonate others; share unlawful, sexually exploitative, invasive, or infringing content; expose another person’s private information; spam, advertise, or manipulate engagement; automate access without permission; disrupt rooms or other people; probe, bypass, reverse engineer, or attack security or rate limits; distribute malware; scrape profiles; or help anyone evade moderation. Do not use Manyplace for illegal activity.

5. Blocking, reports, and moderation

You can block another person so neither of you sees or interacts with the other, although both seats continue to count toward room capacity. You can report a recently encountered person; reports may include snapshots of visible profile and activity information and may be forwarded to our private Discord moderation channel.

We may investigate, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban an installation, or preserve information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or Manyplace, or comply with law. We are not required to monitor every interaction and cannot guarantee that every person or piece of content is safe. To ask about a moderation decision, email contact@realitium.co.

6. Software, updates, and third parties

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Manyplace app for its intended purpose. Realitium and its licensors retain all rights in the app, service, brand, rooms, artwork, and software. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create derivative services except where law expressly permits it.

We may release signed updates, including compatibility or security updates required to keep using the service. Features may change, pause, or end. Links to Discord or other services are provided for convenience; those services have their own terms and are not controlled by us.

7. Deletion and termination

You may delete your account in the app. Deletion removes your public profile and sessions, but does not erase the hidden identifiers and safety records reasonably needed to prevent evasion, protect others, or meet legal obligations. We may suspend or terminate access under Section 5. Sections that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will survive.

8. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

Manyplace is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realitium disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Manyplace is a quiet presence service, not an emergency, health, productivity, or safety service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realitium and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Our total liability arising from Manyplace will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for Manyplace during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Governing law and changes

Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not subject to a mandatory local consumer forum will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Realitium consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer law.

We may update these Terms as Manyplace changes. We will post the revised version here, update its effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use Manyplace after updated Terms take effect means you accept them. Questions can be sent to contact@realitium.co.
